BCCI's leader Sourav Ganguly ask Anil Kumble to apply for the head coach of the Indian team with VVS Laxman.

After Ravi Shastri declared his retirement from Head Coach Indian Cricket Bord members are searching for the perfect head coach and mentor for the young skilled Indian Cricket Team. 

Some ex-players come into BCCI's mind like Mahala Jaybardhna, Rahul Dravid, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, VVS Laxman, Anil Kumble, etc. Jaybardhana told that he is only interested in Mumbai Indians coaching, if he gets a chance to coach the Srilankan team he will Do. 

BCCI's wanted an Indian Head coach whose guidance help to reach this team to another level. Life things come like a circle for Anil Kumble, current BCCI's leader Sourav Ganguly ask him to apply for the head coach of the Indian team with VVS Laxman after Ravi Shastri Completed his term in T20 World Cup 2021.

A few years ago Sourav Ganguly, Laxman, and Sachin Tendulkar appointed him to coach the Indian Cricket team replaces Ravi Shastri in 2016, but he couldn't complete his term and  Ravi Shastri was selected for the head coach for the Indian team. Now again Saurav Ganguly (Dada) calls him.

Anil Kumble joins the team in 2016 and he declared 2017 after the Indian team lost against Pakistan in the pion's trophy final. Not only that in 2017 Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble's relations are not too good, in fact after Champion's trophy it's trending news for the Indian Media.

With Anil Kumble board members need another one for mentoring this team. So, BCCI selected VVS Laxman for the Mentor post. Laxman mentorship the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad for some years now. Laxman did his job very well. He is well connecting with young stars and the other players and coaches. 

A reputed Indian coach is always the first choice for the Indian team. VVS Laxman and And Anil Kumble both the legends of 90's and 20's. Both are too much experienced and face 100 plus Test matches, even both have coaching experience and fit for Indian team. A foreign coach is the second option.

The criteria for the head coach of India team needs very good record as player as well as good experience with coaching /mentorship.

Vikram Rathour said "He can apply if he wish to but he doesn't have the structure to become a head coach of the Indian Cricket Team."
