ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Indian Team Squad | Youngsters of upcoming T20 World Cup

The upcoming ICC T20 world cup 2021 for men is all set to be hosted in Dubai in 2021. Here I am trying to tell you about the 17 men squad of the Indian Cricket Team -Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Dhawan, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shreyas lyer, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Jadeja, Chahal.

·         TOP ORDER

1.    Rohit Sharma (HITMAN) (Vice-Captain)

No doubt in having HITMAN in the side. He has unenviable records in ODI. He is the only player who had three double centuries in ODI. He is at present at fifth position as regards hitting sixes. He has got the best conversion rate in ODI. Once he is set, he goes on to make big. In the company of Dhawan, he many times starts slow but made up subsequently.

Rohit Sharma’s batting style and his bat swing are comfortable for all formats. Rohit Sharma in T20 cricket is very much effective. Pull shot of Rohit Sharma are mind blowing.

His five centuries in World Cup is not fluke. To be fit for World Cup, he promoted himself in IPL to open the inning, where he used to bat at No 4 for Mumbai Indians. His concentration level has increased tremendously since then. He is the second-highest run-scorer in T20Is right after his teammate and captain Kohli. He can also be trusted as a captain if such a situation arises.

2. Sikhar Dhawan

The opening pair of HITMAN and GABBAR is dangerous.

Dhawan has only been consistent in the Champions Trophy. His performance in other ICC tournaments has been below par.

It is not about Dhawan being consistent but, it is about other players not adapting to the conditions.

The pitches used for the Champions Trophy doesn't have swing or spin. The bowler can only get carry or get reverse swing if he works hard.

So, other batsmen haven't played the best cricket they are capable of and have gifted wickets to the opposition.

Shikhar Dhawan was a mystery to other teams during 2013 but, this time he has performed exceptionally well.

Shikhar Dhawan’s cover drive is verry effective, and we all know the aggression of Gabbar he is a match winner.

Dhawan has got his form back and he can build innings, make good partnerships with the fellow teammates and the best thing is that he keeps rotating the strike so that pressure doesn't build up on the side. He can be proved very explosive on his day.

3. KL Rahul

Selectors have no reason for not including Rahul to the side and since 2019 KL has been the part of India’s playing 11. Considering him to continue his form like this allows the team to put a 200+ score on the board. He is a real class player and the elegance that he has in his shots is just worth watching him. He is turning out to be a safe wicket-keeping option as well. If Pant is not able to seal his place in the team, then surely Rahul will take over him and we have seen this happening.

His ipl knocks and current form forced the selectors to give the chance. KL Rahul’s classy shots and shot selection and his ability to playing the boundary made him extra ordinary.

4. Virat Kohli (Captain)

The captain who teaches us the body fitness, leads from the front and has the perfect sense of aggression and responsibility. Virat Kohli aka the run machine highest run-scorer in T20Is will be my captain and he has proved that he can play at number 4 having Rahul in the side. Actually, I am not a big fan of split captaincy so I have no good reason for not considering Virat as the captain.

The reason behind Virat Kohli’s fitness is accuracy. Virat Kohli’s daily routine is very strict and he practice every day. He can play every shot like a pro.

Virat Kohli’s MRF bat is no to heavy not to light .

·         MIDDLE ORDER

The Indian middle-order has been the most concerning area for the selectors in recent times and now I think that they can rely on the following players.

1.    Shreyas lyer

Now I think he has cemented his place in the Indian Cricket team after a good couple of years in terms of consistency in the domestic and international circuit. He can build innings, he understands his role in the middle order really well, he has the ability to play big shots too, and last but not least his maturity reflects in his batting this is probably because he is a born captain. He can build partnerships with any top order or a lower-middle order batsman.

Last year he captained the DC {Delhi Capitals} in the Ipl {Indian Premier League} his team and he did really well, even other senior players, coach are happy of his captaincy. He know his game, shots and ability. He is a solid player for middle order.

2. Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey is a under rated player of this era, he has several knocks some of for team India and some match he rotted the game for his team. He is excellent batsmen, fabulous fielder, his fitness is awesome, he can give singles he can play the big shots.

Manish Pandey been a part of the team on and off but now we can assume that he can play the role of middle-order batsmen with understanding his responsibilities. We may not see him hitting big sixes but he can be the one who can provide strength to the team’s batting order in difficult times by taking his opportunities and building partnerships with other fellow mates.

3. Rishabh Pant (Wicket Keeper)

I know many of you will be thinking why him when you have so many other wicket-keeper batsmen available. But I think this player has the right potential to be in the side, he has been left out in recent times but I know that he can make a comeback and can fix his place in the side. He is destructive as a batsman has good keeping skills too. It’s like a gamble in choosing a wicket-keeper batsman in the current domestic cricket.

His present form and his dedication cement him in no.6 position in the Indian Team.

His Australia series was amazing, in his England test series when he faces jimmy Aderson he was totally fearless. Rishabh Pant’s confident level absolutely amazing.

Rishabh Pant’s sg bat are looking light weight, his swing of the bat, his one handed sixes are verry dangerous, last time he playing against England, Anderson coming to bowling him and he pick a reverse upper cut, Rishabh Pant is the future of India Cricket.

·         ALL ROUNDERS

India has good allrounders who can score good 45–50 runs in the last 15 to 18 balls and at the same time in the second innings can bowl as well.

1.    Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya the who has been injured and out of the team for last season but he is a good striker of the ball and can contribute a good number of runs at a good strike rate. He can hit back-to-back sixes, he can take back-to-back wicket’s, he can save runs and take catches like superman. He is valuable player for team India. Hardik Pandya is one of the best all-rounders in recent times.

He can bowl aggressively, he can bat extremely, he can field like supermen.

2. Sir Ravindra Jadeja

Sir Jadeja Left hand batsmen and left hand off spinner is the one of the best all rounder of all the three formats. His is one of the best filedr n current times.

This guy has made a great comeback after the Asia cup and has been a part of the team since then. His recent form with the bat and ball makes him so helpful to the team to get par and win the tournament.

3. Washington Sunder

The youngster Washington Sundar the promising guy who’s bowling line and length catch the selector’s eye.

I am a big fan of the spin department and this guy seems really promising to me even in the powerplay. I consider him as a bowling allrounder who can connect the ball as well. With the ball, he seems really good and confident to me and has a good economy rate in T20Is of under 7.

·         BOWLERS

No doubt that the current Indian cricket team has really quick and great bowlers and has good spin options as well.

1.    Yuzvendra Chahal

He performed for RCB verry well, he performed in international cricket verry well Yuzi is a set bowler for ICC t20 upcoming world cup.

This guy is just brilliant and uses his brain really well, leggies have always been proved expensive but they are the best wicket-taking options as well. Yuzi is a perfect leggie for India no doubt about that.

2. Mohammed Shami

After the 2015 CWC, he was not a regular part of the team because of his injuries but for the past 3 years, he is serving the Indian fast bowling department really well and take wickets in quick successions with his fellow bowling partner. He is a good bowler of the death overs too as we all have seen him saving 5 runs in the recent KXIP vs MI game in the super over.

3. Jasprit Bumrah

The Yourker king Jasprit Bumrah is all set for icc world cup he do his job perfectly, every time he show his skills we all know that he is a match winner.

He got a chance in the IPL in Mumbai Indians team his bowling action was unpredictable , no one predict his ball, after that he got chance in internationals, right now he is India's best T20 bowler.

He is the basic building block of the Indian bowling department or I should say if Kohli is the captain of the Indian batting team then Burmah is the captain of the Indian bowling team. I don’t have to tell much about him every one of us is well aware of Jasprit Bumrah.

4. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

A good opening bowler for India who can really come in handy for not allowing the opposition to score runs in the powerplay. Along with Bumrah and Shami, he can also bowl in the death overs if required. The initial swing that he generates is just simply amazing to see and puts the batsmen in two minds. But his recent back to back injuries put him at risk of getting dropped from the team.

5. Navdeep Saini

If anyone is looking for a really quick bowling option who cannot consider Saini in that list. He has been a part of T20Is for India in the 2019 season and I am very sure that he has a promising future in the team if he gets his consistency right. He can easily bowl at 150+kmph consistently with good line and length and safe option in the death overs. On his day he can turn the results around.

6. Deepak Chahar

Another good opening bowler along with Bhuvi in T20Is. He has been doing wonders for CSK in the opening with the ball, and his ability to take wickets in the powerplay creates a real impact on the Indian thinktank.

Thoughtful Mentions - Shivam Dube, Krunal Pandya, Devdutt Padikkal, Ishan Kishan.
